11/28/2008- Companies 52, 47 and 45-7 medic were dispatched to Brookhaven Rd and Bridgewater Rds for an accident with injuries. 52-9 was on location and had 52 transport,45 went available and 47 was recalled.
11/27/2008- Company 47 was dispatched to 201 Bridgewater road to assist the police with a ladder. 47-9 arrived on scene and was told that they needed the ladder set up to the roof of the building. Upon the arrival of Rescue 47, the crew laddered the building for the police to have access to both roofs. Once the police had cleared the roof, the Company Returned available.
11/26/08- Companies 52, 47, 57, 65, 45,and 50 were dispatched to Scola road in Brookhaven for a building fire reported to be in the kitchen. 52-9 and 52-1 arrived on location first with nothing showing. Upon further investigation from the first in crews, they found a small fire in the kitchen. Crews made a quick knock on fire and 52-9 held the call to company 52 and recalled the rest.
11/26/2008- Company 47 was dispatched to station 61 for a cover up assignment for Reliance Fire Company. Engine 47 remained at station 61 while Reliance was at a working building fire on Riviera road in Upper Chi. Engine returned home in just over 4 hours. Canteen 47 was also dispatched to the scene to assist with Rehab.
11/25/2008- Companies 52, 45, 47, 50, 57 and 65 were dispatched to Hilltop Drive for a building fire. 52-9 arrived on scene and reported a smoke condition inside the building. After investigation from crews on scene, found problems with the heaters. 52-9 held with 52 and 50 and recalled the balance. Engine and Rescue 47 returned to station.
11/25/2008- Companies 52, 57, 47, 50, 65, 45 were dispatched to Our Lady of Charity for an automatic fire alarm. As 52-1 arrived they found a smoke condition due to burnt food and held with company 52 for the ventilation. Company 47 remained off radio.
11/24/2008- Companies 47, 52, and 57 were dispatched to Powell Road for a natural gas leak inside the building. Upon the Arrival of 47-9 and 52-1, 52-1's crew inside the building to investigate the interior of the building, and 57-1 staged at the hydrant. 52-1's interior crew advised 47-9 that there was no smell inside the building, that the resident was having work done inside the building and that the contractor had advised her earlier in the day that he had smelled some odor of gas inside the building. After futher investigation, it was determined that there was no problems and all companies were returned by 47-9.
11/24/2008- Companies 47 and 52 were dispatched to 201 Bridgewater road for an accident with injuries. 52-12 went on location with no injuries, and no fire department services needed, he advised 47-9B of the situation, and 47-9B recalled the assignment.
11/23/2008- While on another call, Engine and Rescue 47 received a copy and respond to 200 S. Commerce Dr. for a fire alarm. Rescue and Engine 47 responded from the accident call. Upon their arrival, 47-9B had the crew investigate around the exterior of the building and found nothing showing. After investigation, 47-9B, placed situation under control and placed company available.
11/23/2008- Companies 47 and 68 were dispatched to the Highland Motel for an accident with injuries. Rescue 47 arrived on location to find a 2 vehicle accident. Crew from Rescue 47 assisted EMS with the patient. At that time, 47 command held with 47 and recalled the balance. While finishing up with the accident, fire board advised 47 command of an alarm at 200 S. Commerce Drive for a fire alarm.
11/23/2008- Companies 47, 52 and 57 were dispatched to Powell Road for a fire alarm. Upon the arrival of 57-1, 57-9 found that the fire alarm was tripped by cooking. At that time, 47-9B held the assignment to Engine 47 and recalled the balance. |
